My name is Michelle Swamp. My husband Brian & I started a home improvement business back in 1994. At first our forte was roofing & gutters. Of course I was part of the clean up crew and that was my job. I can tell you this I have loaded more dumpsters with torn off shingles than I want to admit to. Over the years we started doing more & more in other areas of improvements. Part of our schooling was using our own home as a learning experience the other part was the school of hard knocks. Lucky for me I work great with my husband and we complement each other with what we know & how we accomplish a project.

Today we build houses & we also make houses handicap accessible for U.S. Veterans. Because of this journey I have been led to this particular moment launching a company that represents women’s needs from a construction tools & apparel approach. This is a need I have always looked for. So here we are today, with GirlyLock™ a brand of products ready to represent the women in the trades & all the do it yourself females out there tackling projects.
